There are problems with running the EEG Monitor software on Intel Core 2 Duo and AMD Atlon X2 processors. The graphic processing of the amplifier data of the monitor will distrube by mouse movements. This has to do with multi-core architecture and Hyper-Threading technology. Braintronics is working on a solution. For the moment there is a solution to solve most of the problems (not all) The program to use for this is Imagecfg.exe. You can find it on the web or get it off of a Windows 2000 or Windows XP Server Resource Kit. Place this tool in the same directory where also TCPIP_EEG_Monitor.exe is located. C:\Program files\BRAINTRONICS\TCPIP_EEG_Monitor.exe to use the second CPU(CPU1) it would look like this: |

There is a special version of the EEG Monitor with EDF-recording functionality. |
|
European Data Format (EDF) is a standard file format designed for exchange and storage of medical time series. EDF stores multichannel data allowing different sample rates for each signal. Internally it includes a header and one or more data records. The header contains information on the whole recording (patient identification, start time...) and on each included signal (filtering, sampling rate...) coded as ASCII characters. |
